Phantom's Producers
As most of you guys know, Phantom isn't really small anymore, and we have representatives from all over the world, including the US, Argentina, Belgium, Austria and several others. Some of them haven't been introduced yet, so I thought; Hey, why don't we introduce them all at once?
So, I've written a little bit about every artist on our label, and I hope you dear readers will enjoy this random post. :D
The Jokestrap - A.K.A. Stephen Johnson
Stephen is an 18 year old producer from Cleveland, Ohio. He hasn't been producing for long but the progress he's been making is enourmous. He is a very good remixer and collaboration associate. Watch out for him, because his beats can destroy your brain,,, in Epicness.
Dark DJ - A.K.A. Thomas Dibden
Thomas shares the first name of one of his favourite artists, Thomas Bangalter. And you can hear that in his productions. When Dark frequently changes from alter-ego for producing tracks, his main ''brand'' stays Dark DJ. He had the honour of having our first official release on iTunes, and we are proud to have him on our side. But have we changed into the Dark Side by now?
Mr. Moustacho - A.K.A. Tijmen Lohmeijer
Tijmen has been a good pal of mine, and we even shared 2 releases on our own Label, Vinyl Subi Records, which is now dead, and a part of it changed into Phantom. He is best known for his old-skool house track, Dutch-Sweat '83, a tribute to Gym Tonic, but then in Dutch. The Single includes a remix by Beatrage, and can be found on youtube.
CH1M3R4 - A.K.A. Vitor Hérnandez
Gosh, there isn't much to say about him. Only that his tracks are incredibly good and his remixes are brilliant. Vitor is from Mexico and has been active in the buisness for a long time. His Latest release, Phant-003 - Alpha Centauri, is a great album. This young producer is going to be huge, and we love his stuff as much as we love himself.
Together Robots - A.K.A. Eva Bardiel
He is from Argentina, He is 22 and he can blow your mind. Together Robots, what a surprise; he likes Daft Punk!; is a PHANTastic producer and already has been making his way high up by playing several gigs in Buenos Aires. He also hasn't been producing for long, but we can already tell that it doesn't sound like that!
Pardon My French - A.K.A. Hans Mariën
A lot of you guys heard about Pardon My French. He is very original and his tracks sound great! He is one of the bigger guys on Phantom Records, but that doesn't matter, because Phantom is for everyone. Hans is from Mechelen, Belgium, and he already played at several festivals. Big ups to PMF!
Allen Walker - A.K.A. Ahmed Wael
Gosh, Allen Walker. He is such a great producer. His track, ''Hurt'', is already marked as a classic ''revisted French House'' production. His biggest idol is the Japanese legend, Sinichi Osawa. Allen is from Austria, and his father is Egyptian. He lives in Vienna and I am sure that he's going to have a brilliant career.
Wietse - A.K.A. Wietse Wiels
Wietse doesn't produce a lot of tracks, but he's already digging into grounds of famous artists. Wietse is one of the more ''Background'' types, and he's organizing a lot of extra's and goodies for Phantom. When he's not doing that stuff, He's studying Medicines in Brussels, Belgium. Allen Walker is one of his biggest icons, but, who doesn't love Allen? :D
Vatska / DJ Waybig - A.K.A. Alexander Vaca
Alex and Beatrage are the owners of Phantom Records, and they mostly keep themselves busy with organizing stuff and releases. But when Vatska turns on his Mac and starts up Ableton, pure magic comes out. Awesomism is one of his latest Albums, and it's simply brilliant. There is a release of him on Phantom coming up, and it contains 2 remixes by CH1M3R4 and Beatrage. Get Hyped!
Earl Grey - A.K.A. Evan Colbert
Evan is a very talented producer from Atlanta. He mixes classic House sounds with a bit of nu-house flavours. His latest release, EPIC EP on Phantom (Phant-004) his brilliant. It mixes between styles. Droid is more tech-house and Fire is classic sampling of disco. Keep an Eye on this fellow!
Thierry Roland - A.K.A. HighLife
Thierry is a Filterhouse-Tech producer from Toronto, Canada. In my opinion, he's one of the most versatile artists on Phantom. He alters from style, but every style is brilliant. We are happy to have him, and I'm sure that you readers will love his tracks!
Stylo - A.K.A. The Nite
Stylo was first named ''The Nite'', but when his productions started to have more style, he decided to change into Stylo. And I can understand why. Stylo is from L.A and he's doing pretty well for an underground artist in a metropolis like that.
Just as all the others, he's going to be on the Phantom Compilation, and get ready for his brand new track!
Synth-E-Sam A.K.A. Sam Gellaitry
Sam is our youngest producer. At the age or 13, he's making sounds nobody would ever expect. His productions variate a lot, from Synth-house to classic Frenchy stuff! He is by the way, our only representative from Scotland. :D
Beatrage - A.K.A. Martijn Naber
Martijn from Zwolle, the Netherlands, is with Alex one of the owners of this beautiful label. He produces different types of tracks, but his main intrest stays in Underground Chicago House. He has an own little studio in his bedroom, a bit compareable of what Thomas and Guy-Man used for their album, Homework.

The updates of today are;!
FIRST DATE IS CUMMING OUR WAY!
We have a serious amount of releases coming up! One of them is by one of the owners of Phantom, Alexander Vaca!
Vatska presented a few days ago his new upcoming Album/Extended EP. It's called 'First Date' and contains a lot of excellent tracks. The remixes are coming from Our favourite guy from the region of Aguascalientes in Mexico, The one and only CH1M3R4, who released a few weeks ago his first Phantom Release. Phant-003 is now 'Alpha Centauri'. And the other remix is from our Dutch guy, Beatrage, who frankly is..... Me!

THE PHANTOM COMPILATION IS CUMMING OUR WAY TO.O!
As most of you already know, Phantom Records is going to release a 15 track compilation on Itunes, including all our artists! There is no date set, but our expectations are that the album should be finished near the end of November. As a little sneak peak, this track is one of the tracks we are going to release on that album. I hope you guys enjoy this little treat, since I enjoyed it aswell!
In my Opinion, this is a Masterpiece by Together Robots. Incredibly Funky and stylish.
Reminds me a lot of Art-tee, don't you think? :D
PHANTOM RECORDS LIVE @ TSG, ZWOLLE
Yes, indeed! A Live gig!
I have been trying to get Phantom into a wider audience. Unfortunatly, I live in the Netherlands, which practically means that it wouldn't work, since music preferences are totally generated by what the radio broadcasts. But it actually had worked after all, and it worked so good, that I have agreed with the schoolboard of my High School to throw a party in the name of Phantom Records! As far as I know, there will be around 150/200 people who would like to come. This is then, officially, the first Phantom Gig! Since nobody on Phant, except for me, lives in Zwolle, I decided to spin on my own, but since there is a very talented DJ at my school too, I agreed with him that we would both spin some tracks. Well. That's all I can say for now. The party will be thrown around mid February, and 1/2 of the profits will go directly to Phantom Records! Let's hope there will be a lot of guests who like PHANTastic Music! :D

AWESOMISM IS AWESOME
Hiya!
I have been very active lately on this blog. So this will be my last articticle for a long time.
Hmm. I won't make it.
Anyways.
Vatska just released a new album, Awesomism, including various ''bigger'' tracks featured on other releases, as Parglanes and Crazy for You.
I would like to write a big review for it, but Unfortunatly, I don't have the time + my mum is pissed on me for going to bed WAY to late. :D

Phantom has made a lot of progress lately! We got in touch with Le Babar, famous for his collaboration with Leonardus on Your Eyes. An amazing track and an amazing EP itself!
Le Babar is a really nice guy! I talked with him yesterday, and he stated that he would love it to release something for Phantom! But he needs to finish his first projects first. Let's hope those will be awesome!

neth month. Simply said, 09/09. This will be featured on several sources, including iTunes! The price won't differ from all the other tracks on Itunes. It's a great EP, and if you love Industrial, Experimental music, you're gonna love this!

DJ Tonka is a german producer and became big because of his first release in 1995, Feel. Feel is for me, one of my most favourite tracks from the 90's. Mainly because of the sampling, which is down-to-right Awesome. Here is Tonka's FEEL. I want you to FEEL. Do what you FEEL!

Ok... So, I'm Viktor also known as CH1M3R4. I'm one of the members of Phantom Records and I'm grateful to be participating in a very interesting project like this.
I worked on a new album that was supposed to be released on August 23 on this label... But, due to connection problems *stoopid modem >:(* will not be released until further notice.

Introduction to YOUR BLOG

Anyways.
Welcome to this blog!
We are Phantom Records, a Nu-FrenchFilter house label, based in Chicago and Zwolle.
I am Martijn, A.K.A Beatrage. I created this label with Alex Vaca, also known as the psneudoniums, DJ Waybig and Vatska, and Stephen Johnson, Also known as The Jokestrap.
This blog is mainly purposed to post new updates of our label, favourite new and old tracks and other crap which might be intresting. Or not. Depends on what we're posting, of course :D
As some of you may know, or what you actually should know by now, Daft Punk is making the theme for Tron Legacy, a sequel to the original Tron film from 1982, which gained the status as ''Cult Classic''.
As a fan of the film and of Daft Punk, I can't wait for it to be released. The current release date for the premiere is on the 30th of December, 2010. As I will expect, a lot of you people will go. And to celebrate this special occasion, I will probably visit my good pal, Alex in Chicago to view the premiere and to experience the exciting new film and tracks by Daft Punk.
A lot of tracks are posted on youtube, and most of them are diagnosed as ''Fakers''. But they are entertaining fakers and I thought you might like them too. So specially for you, Here is Prestige!
Prestige was created by Prestigeron in 2009 and gained a lot of succes because of the fact he placed a trailer for Tr2n over his track. Smart!

We are Phantom Records, a Nu-FrenchFilter house label, based in Chicago and Zwolle.
I am Martijn, A.K.A Beatrage. I created this label with Alex Vaca, also known as the psneudoniums, DJ Waybig and Vatska, and Stephen Johnson, Also known as The Jokestrap.
This blog is mainly purposed to post new updates of our label, favourite new and old tracks and other crap which might be intresting. Or not. Depends on what we're posting, of course :D
As some of you may know, or what you actually should know by now, Daft Punk is making the theme for Tron Legacy, a sequel to the original Tron film from 1982, which gained the status as ''Cult Classic''.
As a fan of the film and of Daft Punk, I can't wait for it to be released. The current release date for the premiere is on the 30th of December, 2010. As I will expect, a lot of you people will go. And to celebrate this special occasion, I will probably visit my good pal, Alex in Chicago to view the premiere and to experience the exciting new film and tracks by Daft Punk.
A lot of tracks are posted on youtube, and most of them are diagnosed as ''Fakers''. But they are entertaining fakers and I thought you might like them too. So specially for you, Here is Prestige!
Prestige was created by Prestigeron in 2009 and gained a lot of succes because of the fact he placed a trailer for Tr2n over his track. Smart!
